She developed EU AI Act compliance strategies for over 60 risk leaders across the PwC EMEA region, trained predictive text models to safeguard enterprise trust and safety data, and established ethical AI literacy programs for international companies and educational institutions. Today, she guides executive decision-makers through the complexities of AI adoption, ensuring that technology is implemented securely, transparently, and aligned with measurable business value.

She began her career as a Financial Translator and in 2005 founded the English Office at SDL (now RWS), building a 40-person team with a freelancer network spanning 55 source languages.
At Acclaro, she has led initiatives focused on talent development and innovation. Melissa earned her degree from University College London and now lives on a smallholding in Mid-Wales, where two peacocks regularly join her meetings from the windowsill.
