Marisabel Wendler - Localization Program Manager, Amazon Music
Marisabel Wendler is a Localization Program Manager at Amazon Music with over 12 years of experience in localization program management, AI-driven translation automation, and cross-functional leadership. She currently leads the Translation Automation Program, where she has scaled AI localization use cases and co-designed an AI Translation App to streamline multilingual workflows. An AWS Certified AI Practitioner, Marisabel is a recognized thought leader and featured speaker at industry conferences including Amazon Loc Summit and LocWorld.
She holds a Master of Arts in Translation and Localization Management from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages from Universidad de Margarita, Venezuela. Fluent in Spanish and English with proficiency in four additional languages, she brings a global perspective to every initiative. Marisabel is also one of the Chapter Leads of Amazon's Women in AI/ML Seattle Chapter, where she empowers professionals across tech and non-tech roles to expand their AI knowledge and skills.

Michelle Mcintosh leads the AI Consulting division as a Senior Consultant in AI Strategy and Governance at Nimdzi Insights. With over 13 years of technical business experience, she partners with global enterprises to bridge the gap between AI innovation and ethical governance. Michelle’s expertise spans the full spectrum of responsible AI deployment. She developed EU AI Act compliance strategies for over 60 risk leaders across the PwC EMEA region, trained predictive text models to safeguard enterprise trust and safety data, and established ethical AI literacy programs for international companies and educational institutions. Today, she guides executive decision-makers through the complexities of AI adoption, ensuring that technology is implemented securely, transparently, and aligned with measurable business value.

Melissa McMahon - VP language Services, Acclaro

Melissa McMahon has over 20 years of experience in localization, specializing in human and machine translation, language technology, and supply chain management. She began her career as a Financial Translator and in 2005 founded the English Office at SDL (now RWS), building a 40-person team with a freelancer network spanning 55 source languages.
At Acclaro, she has led initiatives focused on talent development and innovation. Melissa earned her degree from University College London and now lives on a smallholding in Mid-Wales, where two peacocks regularly join her meetings from the windowsill.
